RULES AND REGULATIONS

At our esteemed institution, we prioritize fostering a disciplined and conducive learning environment that nurtures the holistic development of our students. 

We expect all students to adhere strictly to the following rules and regulations:

Code of Conduct

1. Maintain respect and courtesy towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.

2. Present a clean, tidy, and well-groomed appearance during school hours and official events.

3. Bullying, harassment, or any form of violence is strictly prohibited and will result in severe disciplinary action.

4. Academic integrity is of paramount importance. Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty is unacceptable and will have serious consequences.

5. Vandalism or intentional damage to school property will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

6. The use of offensive language, gestures, or disruptive behaviour is strictly prohibited.

7. Adherence to classroom rules and instructions from teachers is mandatory.

8. Engaging in any illegal activities, such as substance abuse or possession of prohibited items, will result in immediate expulsion.

9. Maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment free from discrimination is expected.

 

Dress Code
  1. Students must wear the prescribed school uniform during school hours and official events, without exception.
  2. The uniform should be well-maintained, clean, and properly ironed at all times.
  3. Appropriate grooming standards must be followed, and excessive makeup or jewellery is not permitted.
  4. Specific guidelines for hairstyles and accessories may be enforced to maintain uniformity and a professional appearance.
  5. Appropriate footwear, as specified by the school, must be worn on campus for safety reasons.
Disciplinary Policies​
  1. Minor infractions may result in warnings or detention.
  2. Repeated or serious offenses will lead to stricter disciplinary actions, including suspension or expulsion.
  3. A demerit system may be implemented, where accumulated demerits can result in escalating consequences.
  4. In cases of severe misconduct or violation of school policies, immediate suspension or expulsion may be imposed without prior warning.
  5. Parents or guardians will be notified and involved in the disciplinary process, as necessary.
  6. Disciplinary actions may also include community service, counselling, or other appropriate interventions.
Attendance and Punctuality
  1. Unauthorized absences or excessive tardiness will be addressed through the disciplinary process.
  2. Frequent unexcused absences may result in academic penalties or disciplinary action.
  3. Leave Application Process 
  • For leave up to 5 days, parents must inform the Class Teacher through a written application in advance.
  •  For more than 5 days, prior permission from the school authorities is required.
  •  In case of emergencies, parents are expected to inform the school within 72 hours.

 

Academic Integrity
  1. Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and honesty.
  2. Plagiarism, cheating, or any form of academic dishonesty will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, including potential expulsion.
  3. Unauthorized sharing or distribution of academic materials is strictly prohibited.
Electronics and Personal Belongings
  1. The use of personal electronic devices is prohibited during school hours unless authorized for educational purposes.
  2. The school is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings brought to the premises.
  3. Students are advised to leave valuable items at home to avoid any potential issues.
Campus Safety and Security
  1. Students must follow all safety protocols and instructions provided by school authorities.
  2. Unauthorized entry or presence in restricted areas of the campus is strictly prohibited.
  3. Any suspicious activities or potential threats to safety should be immediately reported to school authorities.

Please note that these rules and regulations are subject to periodic review and updates by the school administration. 

Any violations will be addressed through appropriate disciplinary measures to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all students.

Transport Rules and Safety Measures
  1. Students must reach the stop at least a few minutes before the time scheduled for the arrival of the school bus.
  2. Students should always stay away from the main road while waiting for the school vehicles. Always use zebra crossings while crossing the roads.
  3. Students should not board or alight from the vehicle until the vehicle has come to a complete halt.
  4. Please board the bus in proper queue.
  5. Students should remain seated and not move around when the vehicle is in motion.
  6. Students should not lean out of the window or stick their heads or limbs out.
  7. Students should occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding the school vehicle.
  8. Older students should look after the younger ones by offering them their seats.
  9. The main door of vehicles is the only authorized entrance.
  10. The students must not refrain from following the instructions of the driver of the vehicle.
  11. Do not put your bags on the vehicle seat instead of the bag carriages.
